Gig Announcements

There is so much in the pipeline, BUT we still are waiting on the YourFund decision on our community venue refit from Surrey County Council , no work can begin on the venue until we know the outcome.

We have submitted all the information requested and look forward to hearing soon.

So we have been trying to reschedule and move our booked shows. Unfortunately for all concerned we have had to cancel 2 shows, move 3 to a different venue and reschedule one of the dates.

We are really sad that Cut Capers and Hannah Moule and the Moulettes have had to cancel because of the venue not being ready.

We have worked really hard to find alternative space for the gig but with no other venues available to accommodate them and their touring schedules not coinciding with reschedule dates we have no choice.

Both bands have been incredible about this and we thank them for their understanding. We hope next year we can rebook them when we are fully open!

You should have received an email about a refund from Seetickets. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Unfortunately we couldn’t find another venue locally for the Hang Massive gig so the gig will now be taking place at Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham. Tickets for this gig will still be valid but refunds will be issued if you can no longer make it.

We are delighted to have been able to move the Kristin Hersh gig to the fantastic brand new, Buzz Theatre in Woking, and we have been able to negotiate a discounted meal offer at the Italian Kitchen restaurant next door for anyone with tickets to this show. Buzz Theatre is in the Peacocks Shopping Centre, Commercial Way Woking GU21 6YA

We will update the location of Dani Larkin’s gig as soon as we have it finalised.

John Otway will be rescheduled to 9th December.

All other shows stay the same.

Hopefully we will have more news soon.

WE HAVE NEWS

THE VISION REMAINS THE SAME BUT THE DATES HAVE MOVED

GIG RELOCATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS

Due to the funding decision being delayed, our amazing venue won’t be ready to open in time for our upcoming shows!
With the fantastic support of the bands, the agents, Woking Borough Council and other partners we have been able to move some shows to different venues and other shows have had to be rescheduled to 2022.
Martha Hill has moved to the Rhoda McGaw Theatre. Unfortunately there was nowhere in Woking to host the Chubby & The Gang gig but The Face Bar in Reading has been able to help us there.
Important update: the Skints gig due to take place on 28th October has unfortunately been cancelled.
Please look out for an email from SeeTickets regarding a refund if you have purchased tickets.
We are absolutely gutted that this gig could not take place, but circumstances beyond our control have made the alternative venue unviable. It is not the fault of the band in any way.
Unfortunately there was nowhere in Woking to host the Chubby & The Gang gig but The Face Bar in Reading has been able to help us there.
All the other gigs have been postponed to next year all the details are below.

Thank you to everyone involved in these big decisions and for still putting your support behind us.
If you have already bought a ticket we will be in touch in the next week with all the details about the new dates along with refund details if you can’t make the new dates.
We are gutted to be having to make all these changes but we when we are able to open will be fully ready to welcome everyone and Woking will finally have the venue and community space that you have been crying out for. We are excited to welcome you in 2022.

Brooklands Radio at the Phoenix Cultural Centre Opening Sat 1 June

Ok , we admit it we are a bit tardy putting this up but we are really grateful for David Durant of Brooklands Radio – a community station that supports local unsigned music They came to support us at our opening. David wrangled people to compile an interview where he completely gets what we are all about. No one he asked knew they were going to be interviewed in advance – least of all us,  we thought they were covering the fantastic unsigned musicians who agreed to play. So, every one is talking from their own heart and we are very grateful for their support and for getting it out there so you can see it is what people do want all different people from different perspectives will hopefully get something out of it that they believe will make things better
