  • It is run by a team of local people volunteering to open an arts & music venue and is a charitable, not for profit organisation for the community of Woking. 

  • We are open when there is a show on or a booking in the venue as well as our regular events. People are welcome to use the Public Living Room when we are open.

  • Many shows and events will have an advertised charge from donation to a fixed price. It is free to use the Public Living Room and outside garden spaces when we are open for other things. 

  • Most of our shows (unless advertised otherwise) are aged 14+ with adult. 

    Any shows with under 18’s will require that they are under adult supervision at all times. 

    We do family & all ages shows and some specifically aimed at children. 

  • Yes there is a large car park onsite for use by people when visiting the venue.

  • No, the venue gates are locked at night and all cars must be off the premises.

  • No tickets are sold online or at the door at the event. 

  • No, the venue is a licensed premises and must ensure we are aware of alcohol being consumed on the premises. It is a community led non profit with events run by volunteers, so sales of refreshments including non-alcoholic are an essential contribution to paying for costs & overheads to keep it open.  We will return items at the end of the evening. 

  • No. An empty bottle may be brought in that our reception or bar staff will arrange to refill with water for you at no cost. Water is provided free by the bar to anyone that asks. 

  • It is normal protocol to do bag searches at venues for public safety & to ensure we are compliant with our licensing conditions. 

  • Yes, a cloakroom is available. Busy events will require large bags to be checked in to the cloakroom. 

  • Yes. Please advise in advance by contacting us and we will ensure you are not held up at Reception. 

  • Some of our shows are seated and others standing. If you require a seat at a standing show, please let us know and this can be arranged. 

  • No. Woking has many restaurants and takeaways. We are happy for you to bring food in before a show and consume but ask that you take your rubbish away.
