Abdoulaye Kouyaté, modern griot, kora and guitar virtuoso, embarks on an exceptional tour to celebrate the resounding success of his latest album Fefanyi.

The critically and publicly acclaimed opus fuses ancestral traditions with modern sounds that are at times rythmic and warm and other times poetic and refined but above all original, consolidating his place among the greatest musicians of his generation.

After years spent accompanying various musicians most notably ; (Ba Cissoko, Mariama, Jain and Gabi Hartmann among others), Abdoulaye Kouyaté – son of Sekou Kouyaté, griot, respected kora player and guitarist as well as Miriam Makeba’s bandleader during her years of exile in Guinea – puts his creative energy into a personal project that reflects his own personality.
